LAND O’ LAKES — Drivers have been made aware of a new light, and intersection, on U.S. 41, aka Land O’ Lakes Boulevard. FDOT and Pasco County announced that a new three-way, lighted intersection opened May 21 on Land O’ Lakes Boulevard/U.S. 41, meeting with Sunterra Drive. It comes at the request of the Pasco County School District, with the board feeling it was needed to help provide safety and better management of traffic coming and going from Dayspring Angeline Academy.

LAND O’ LAKES — Delays will continue for weeks as the Florida Department of Transportation resumed work on State Road 54 last week, advancing a project delayed more than six months. From April 14-18, FDOT repaired voids on eastbound State Road 54 east of Village Lakes Shopping Center Drive and the Lowe’s at 21500 State Road 54 in Lutz. Crews filled voids with grout, reducing the three-lane highway to one lane.
