At this point, no one really knows anything. Now that we have that out of the way, let’s speculate about a fun, “bold” direction the Patriots could go at the 2025 NFL Draft. It’s becoming more and more likely, it seems, that New England stays put at No. 4 and drafts LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell on Thursday night — despite his flaws. New England reportedly has an “infatuation” with the tackle, who they also “love” and “adore.”Here’s something to wonder, though: Doth protest too much?

We’re not even through April, so there’s a long way to go before the MLB playoffs get here, but for teams like the Red Sox, it’s never too early to start thinking about ways to augment a roster. Apparently, ESPN.com is on a similar page. ESPN.com writer David Schoenfield took on the Herculean (and most likely pointless) task of identifying at least one possible trade chip for each team this season even with the deadline three months away.

The reinforcements aren’t just on the way for the Red Sox. They have arrived. Boston’s rotation will get a big boost Tuesday night (6:30 p.m. ET, NESN) when Brayan Bello makes his 2025 season debut against the Mariners. Bello has missed the first month of the season with a shoulder issue, and he’ll rejoin the rotation to open the series with Seattle. Bello might not be the only veteran starter to get back in the saddle this week for Boston.

If the Patriots aren’t sold on Will Campbell — or anyone else — at No. 4 in the draft, they should keep this mantra in mind: it only takes one team. Two widely held beliefs are increasingly defining the 2025 NFL Draft. The first is that there isn’t a lot of great top-tier talent, especially at the quarterback position. The second is that what this draft lacks in premium firepower, it largely makes up for it in depth. That’s why the Patriots are in a relatively complicated position.

If the Patriots do what most expect them to do and draft Will Campbell with the No. 4 overall pick, it’s unlikely they’ll be getting a Hall of Fame tackle. NFL insiders and draft experts think Campbell is the best offensive lineman available in the draft, but it’s not an exceptionally great draft at the position. It’s unlikely Campbell — or any other lineman drafted this weekend — turns into the next Trent Williams or Jordan Mailata.

Augusta Diaries (Wed) -Played 9 holes with Phil, DJ, Noah Kent. We had a 9 hole team match, Phil and I vs. DJ and NK. We were tied heading into 9. Phil from the pine straws hit it to tap in with the pin in the middle right tier. Noah Kent also hit a nice shot to about 25 ft.
