The Nintendo 3DS was home to some truly fantastic RPGs, with Fantasy Life being one of my personal favourites.

I’ve often found that headsets can be a pain when it comes to deciding which one to buy. My main gripe has always been that many of them are only suited for one platform or connection type. Well, Trust’s GXT 493PS Carus is an over-ear wireless set that aims to provide great quality across multiple devices at a more budget-friendly price. Let’s check it out, shall we? So, what’s in the box?

My PlayStation 5 Pro has been balancing precariously without a stand for some time now, as I refused to pay for something that should have been included in the box. Thankfully, the good people over at Trust have sent me a flashier, more affordable alternative to Sony’s official product: the GXT 229 LED Vertical Stand!Included in the package is everything needed to keep your PS5 console safe and secure.

As someone who plays the occasional local co-op game now and then, I know the pain of going to turn on your second controller only to find it’s dead. Thankfully, Trust is here to alleviate my first-world problem with the GXT 228 Dual Charging Dock!In the box, you’ll find the dock and a USB-C to C cable, and it’s as simple as plugging it in and placing up to two controllers on the dock to start charging.

Charging your controller via USB straight from the PlayStation 5 is a simple way to refill your batteries. The downside is that the standard DualSense charging wire isn’t that long and can take a good few hours to reach 100%. With Trust’s GXT 255 Quick Charge Stand, the aim is to get you back into the game sooner rather than later! The box contains the charger as well as a USB-A to C cable and is ready to go as soon as it’s connected to any active USB port.

Originally announced in 2003 (yes, really), Captain Blood has had a turbulent 22 years leading up to its release. After being passed from developer to developer and hit with numerous delays, the game was all but cancelled and sank to the bottom of Davy Jones’ Locker. That was until 2020, when developer General Arcade got to work reviving this long-dormant project.

Days Gone was one of my favourite games of the eighth generation of consoles. I feel like I’m very much alone in saying that, as it didn’t exactly garner universal acclaim upon its release. After a few updates and the ironing out of some bugs, however, public reception grew more positive. So, why was there no follow-up title, especially when the first game’s ending was such an obvious sequel setup? Well, developer Bend Studio itself said that it won’t be working on a Days Gone 2.

I couldn’t quite figure out what type of game Blades of Fire was when I first saw its debut trailer. Developer MercuryStream has some varied titles in its back catalogue, including Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid Dread, with the former being what I initially thought Blades of Fire would resemble most. But, is this action-adventure like anything MercurySteam has created before? Well, it’s certainly an interesting one! So, let’s have a look at this intriguing title, shall we?

Last month, we previewed the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and had the chance to experience the majority of the game. Now that we’ve got our hands on the full release, has anything changed? Initial impressions were positive of the overall package, but this review will go a little more in-depth, looking at all of the eight available titles.

Released just over 19 years ago, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was nothing short of a masterpiece. Rumours of a remake had been seen around the internet for the past few months, but the recent announcement, followed by my favourite gaming tradition of “it’s available right now!” was a very happy surprise indeed. With The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered out now for all current-gen platforms, it was time for me to revisit Cyrodiil and once again close shut the jaws of Oblivion.
