Released just over 19 years ago, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was nothing short of a masterpiece. Rumours of a remake had been seen around the internet for the past few months, but the recent announcement, followed by my favourite gaming tradition of “it’s available right now!” was a very happy surprise indeed. With The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered out now for all current-gen platforms, it was time for me to revisit Cyrodiil and once again close shut the jaws of Oblivion.

Ever wanted to own your own bed and breakfast for animals? No, me neither, although I do have a soft spot for our four-legged friends, and I imagine they’d be a lot easier to deal with than humans. Nevertheless, developer Games Incubator is back with another simulator, this time in the form of Pets Hotel, in which, you guessed it, you run your own pet hotel. Originally launched on Steam back in 2023, this review will be focusing on the console version recently released.

Each edition of So I Tried… I will try a game that I have never played before. Will I find something new to love? Will I find something new to despise? I'll take a full half hour, no matter how bad it gets or how badly I do, to see if this is the game for me. This time around, I went with the recently released puzzler, Blue Prince. What I thought it wasAfter hearing about the game being a day-one release on PlayStation Plus Extra last month, I didn’t look too much into what it was about.

Despite being nigh on 30 years old, the Atelier franchise still feels like a niche series of games. I myself am only a casual fan and am not even close to having played the numerous mainline and spin-off titles, but I have had the chance to get my hands on developer’s Gust and KOEI TECMO’s latest entry: Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land.
