It was back in January at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event when that 'one more thing' moment dropped, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was revealed, and everyone lost their minds over Samsung's thinnest-ever phone. Well, now the Galaxy S25 Edge is actually launching to the world – not only Korea, as was rumoured – and I got to experience using the 5.8mm-thin device prior to its 30 May on-sale date.

It's turning out to be a bumper year for new TV technologies. It was back at CES 2025 when I saw Panasonic's top-tier set, the Z95B, which uses the multi-layer OLED panel tech, as found in the LG OLED G5. But it was just last week, at a full TV line-up preview at Panasonic's European headquarters, that I got to check out the step-down model, the Z90B. It's got a whole lot to offer, based on my initial impressions, acting as a great alternative to Samsung's S90F set.

It was big news last year when Panasonic announced its TV business expansion was returning to the USA. And for good reason: the Japanese giant has been making some of the best TVs for many years, so a bigger audience to appreciate them can only be a good thing. At CES 2025, I saw the champion new Z95B model, which is clearly gunning to be the best OLED TV of the year.

CHICAGO (WGN) — Pope Leo XIV is an Augustinian priest. He is also a Chicago-area native and has many connections to St. Rita, an Augustinian High School on the city’s South Side. There was a sense of excitement on Thursday that a son of the South Side is now the leader of the worldwide Catholic faith. And not only that, but Cardinal Robert Prevost is the first American pope in the 2,000-year history of the Catholic Church. Father Thomas McCarthy has known Prevost for nearly four decades.
