IPR requires a chief operator with at least a drinking water OR wastewater grade 3 treatment certification AND an advanced water treatment grade 3 certification at start up. Within a few years of operation, a grade 5 drinking water OR wastewater certification and grade 5 advanced water treatment certification is required.
