The Class 4A 2nd-ranked Warriors are now 22-3 on the season. Against Wayne, Norwalk senior Carly Brewer hit a game-tying two-run triple in the third, but the Class 1A 2nd-ranked Falcons scored five runs in the fifth to break the 2-2 tie. The game ended after five innings due to a time limit. Bailey Birmingham went 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Warriors.

    The Norwalk softball team journeyed to Davenport Central on Tuesday and racked up 29 runs and 31 hits in a doubleheader sweep of the Blue Devils. The Class 4A fourth-ranked Warriors won game one 18-7 in six innings and took the night cap 11-2 in five. Norwalk posted crooked numbers in six different innings on the day, including a seven-run second inning, a four-run fifth and a five-run sixth in game one.
