One of the greatest achievements in genre cinema is the ability for a film to straddle two genres at once and somehow make both of its individual parts work while also synchronizing them into a bold new flavor. This is a feat that Ryan Coogler’s 2025 horror film, “Sinners,” succeeds at with a passionate fervor that easily marks it as one of the year’s most exciting and original films. The basic premise of “Sinners” follows two gangster brothers, Smoke and Stack, both portrayed by Michael B. Jordan.

Occasionally, a movie will come along that’s so dumb, lazy, and ill thought out that it genuinely makes you wonder how anyone could have been convinced to finance it. But then, that’s been a longstanding problem with video game adaptations to begin with. Up until very recently, studios have had very little success with bringing video games to the big screen, and “Stay Alive” is no exception.

Have you ever had a friend who seemed to be losing touch with reality? Maybe you’ve needed to be there for that person as much as you could. Or possibly, you may have even been that person yourself. You love the SNES, we love the SNES, so let’s look at the best SNES games ever together. Quick rule: we can’t have multiples from the same series, but it can be from the same franchise. Part of what makes a game like Helldivers II so addictive for its growing list of dedicated players is the fact that there are so many viable strategies to use with your own individual playstyle. For example, while the SG-8 Punisher wasn’t necessarily any player’s top weapon pick when the game first launched, the small submachine gun has seen a groundswell of support in more recent rounds. This may lead some players to wonder how they can get their hands on one.

Yo, for my gaming friends, if you haven't played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 yet, you need to get on it. Hands down one of the best RPGs that I've ever played. Probably Top 10 all-time level. #ClairObscurExpedition33

If you still haven't seen Sinners, I hope you will soon. If you have, you already know how good it is. Either way, here are my thoughts on this absolutely incredible film. https://t.co/iXEHSU3dod
