MANILA (Reuters) - The Philippines posted its slowest annual inflation rate in nearly five years in March as food and transport prices eased, but the central bank said it would stick to a "measured approach" in cutting interest rates. The consumer price index rose 1.8% in March, below the previous month's 2.1% rate and the 2.0% median forecast in a Reuters poll, and was the lowest since May 2020 when the rate hit 1.6%.
