On a Saturday night, outside a dark building in Smithfield in the south-west of Sydney, the street is deadly quiet and deserted. On one side of a driveway is a kitchen wholesaler; on the other an auto parts dealer. But right at the end of that driveway, through some roller doors, is a huge hall teeming with life and activity. The people gathered here tonight have travelled from all over Sydney to meet. They share a proud culture and language.
