By Miriam Mukuru National Australia Bank (NAB) marketed a new 5-year dollar denominated covered bond on Tuesday, LSEG data showed. The bond has an initial price talk in the mid-swap plus 75 basis points area and a maturity date on June 3, 2030. Proceeds from the bond sale will go to general corporate purposes, LSEG said. Covered bonds are debt instruments issued by financial institutions and are backed by a pool of assets.

By Miriam Mukuru The U.K. Debt Management Office successfully sold 4.25 billion pounds ($5.7 billion) of bonds having earlier delayed the auction due to a global technical outage affecting Bloomberg terminals. The DMO had extended the auction bidding close time of the October 2031 gilt "Our systems are returning to normal operations and terminal functionality has been restored following a service disruption earlier today," said Ty Trippet, a Bloomberg spokesman.

By Miriam Mukuru The U.K. Debt Management Office extended the auction bidding close time of the October 2031 gilt auction from 0900 GMT to 1030 GMT due to market-wide Bloomberg system issues, it said Wednesday. "We expect the close time of the auction bidding window to be 11.30 am [1030 GMT], subject to Bloomberg systems issues being resolved," the DMO said. The DMO said it will share further details as soon as possible.
