To send off the C4 generation in grand fashion back in 1996, Chevrolet offered a couple of special models – the Grand Sport in Admiral Blue with white stripe and the Collector Edition in Sebring Silver Metallic.
Production figures vary according to the source, but the Corvette Action Center says only 1,381 Collector Edition convertibles were built, including this low-mileage beauty currently being offered on Bring a Trailer at no reserve.

When Andy Pilgrim was growing up in Nottingham, England, we wonder if he could have dreamed of being inducted into the Corvette Hall of Fame one day.
But that’s exactly what happened to this storied Corvette Racing driver back in 2012, and now he’s just been appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Corvette Museum.
“To be welcomed onto the National Corvette Museum Board is an incredible honor,” the 68-year-old Pilgrim says.

‘Tis better to have driven a C8 Z06 and lost it, than never to have driven one at all.
That might be one way to summarize the owner’s brief relationship with his one-off 2024 Z06 3LZ convertible.
The car was the prize in a raffle sponsored by the National Corvette Museum in celebration of their 30th anniversary.
As such, the NCM spared no expense outfitting this Z06, including a one-off NCM 30th Anniversary Tech Bronze graphics package with bronze and carbon flash stripes.

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.
That old adage is usually a positive motivator, but not so much when it comes to a recent case involving the theft of a C7 Corvette in Missouri.
It all started more than a week ago when a neighbor scared away thieves as they tried to take a Blade Silver 2018 Grand Sport in Kansas City’s Waldo area.
The bad guys weren’t content to just leave empty-handed, though, and started firing bullets through the air, some of which hit nearby cars and houses.

The C7 Corvette has been plagued for years with the issue of cracked wheels sometimes caused by potholes, or at least that’s where General Motors has tried to shift the blame in some cases.
Because of weather conditions and limited tax dollars, potholes will probably always be around.
