RHINELANDER (WJFW) — Pickleball games will be back at the Hodag Dome starting Tuesday. While tennis isn't ready for a return while waiting on delivery of new tennis standards, the Rhinelander Pickleball Group helped assemble nets to get the Dome ready for pickleball, according to a Facebook post on the Hodag Dome page. The Dome will now be ready for pickleball to return.

ST. GERMAIN, Wis. (WJFW) — A St. Germain house is a total loss after a fire Tuesday which started in the garage by an electrically powered bike, according to a Vilas County Sheriff's Office release. At 9:35 p.m. Vilas County dispatch received a call from a resident of a home in the 8100 block of Greenwood Drive stating they had a garage fire, according to a Vilas County Sheriff's Office news release. All of the residents were able to get out of the home safely and with no injuries, the release said.

TOWN OF PRESQUE ISLE, Wis. (WJFW) — A 92-year-old man suffered burns in a Presque Isle house fire, but was able to get out of the home. The house is a total loss, though, as a result of the blaze. Just after 6:30 p.m. Vilas County dispatch took a 911 call from the neighbor of of a home in the 11500 block of State Line Road in the Town of Presque Isle, reporting a possible structure fire, a Vilas County Sheriff's Office news release said.

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (WJFW) — The Wisconsin Windigo will no longer be playing in Eagle River. The Wisconsin Windigo posted a news release on its Facebook page confirming the team had been sold and relocated to Brookfield, near Milwaukee. The Windigo were in Eagle River for three seasons. The North American Hockey League’s Board of Governors held an emergency conference call Wednesday where the decision was announced.

MERRILL, Wis. (WJFW) — A Merrill man was arrested Saturday for second offense operating while intoxicated when a deputy on patrol found the man passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle on the side of the road. On Saturday, a deputy on patrolling on Lincoln County Highway K near Lincoln Drive in the Town of Merrill located a vehicle stopped on the side of the road, according to a news release from Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.
