On a restart with 15 laps to go, both Chastain and Byron got past Martin Truex Jr. – who brought the field to green – and pulled away. Chastain created a half-second gap over Byron but couldn’t extend his lead out any further. Byron closed back within a few tenths, but that’s as close as he got.

    Chelsea have completed the signing of teenage midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu from Rennes. A France Under-19 international, the Blues have swooped with a deal worth a reported £23.5 million (€27.3m) to take Ugochukwu to Stamford Bridge. The Premier League club announced the signing on Tuesday evening with Ugochukwu, 19, signing a seven-year deal. He made his senior Rennes debut in 2021 and went on to make 60 appearances for his boyhood club, scoring one Ligue 1 goal in the process.
