Weather Update: Monday, May 5 —Good Morning West Tennessee. No significant changes to the forecast today. We’re still dealing with clouds associated with the upper low centered around Bowling Green, Kentucky this morning. The good news is that the low is moving away, but it will still take most of the day for clouds to break up north of I-40. south of it, its possible we will see temps punch into the upper 60s.

Weather Update: Monday, April 14 —We have a fairly mild start to the day with temps in the mid 60s this morning. The warm temps of course are courtesy a fairly broad warm sector. Another clipper-like cold font is dropping south from around I-70. It will gradually advance east and southeast pushing the physical cold front into West Tennessee likely by sunset. Ahead of the front there is some weak instability pooling ahead of the front.

Weather Update: Friday, April 4 —Good Morning West Tennessee. e have a few lingering showers this morning in Northwest Tennessee. A now stalled surface front is forecast to surge northward as the morning progresses. This will eventually thermally cap the region which will keep the area dry and mostly rain free this afternoon. It is certainly a welcome reprieve, but one that won’t last very long as another episode of strong to severe storms will be ongoing west of the Mississippi River.
