Raider Akash Shinde has joined the Bengaluru Bulls for their training camp ahead of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12). The former PKL champions began their training camp in Tirupati a few days earlier, and Akash Shinde was the last Indian player to join the camp. Before Akash, Yogesh Dahiya, Sanjay Dhull, and many other young Indian players joined the camp. Star defender Ankush Rathee is yet to join the camp.

The U20 National Junior Athletics Championships 2025 took place from June 22 to 24 at the Madan Mohan Malviya Sports Stadium in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. It was a chance to see some great athletes and see what India’s athletic future would look like. Over 1000 young athletes from 44 teams competed in 48 medal events in the 23rd edition of the championships. As many as four junior national records were broken, and several meet records were rewritten in the three-day competition.

Haryana Steelers had a fabulous outing in PKL season 11, winning their maiden Pro Kabaddi League title last season. They topped the PKL points table with 16 wins and six losses in 22 matches. The Steelers ended their group stage campaign with a score difference of 112. The Haryana-based franchise defeated the UP Yoddhas 28-25 in the 1st semi-final encounter to storm into their second consecutive PKL final. They easily edged past Patna Pirates 32-23 in the summit clash to lift the PKL trophy.

Dhinidhi Desinghu is currently India’s best female swimmer, holding national records in multiple events. Days after rewriting her own National Record in women’s 200m, Olympian Dhinidhi Desinghu broke the NR in women’s 100m freestyle event at the ongoing Senior National Aquatic Championship 2025 on Wednesday. En route, the 15-year-old swimmer also became the first Indian female swimmer to complete a race in under 57 seconds. She took 56.78 seconds to surpass the previous NR set by Shikha Tandon.
