DiscussionThis study sheds light on the critical issues of delayed presentation and early deaths in a teriary care center located outside the capital in an LMIC. Analyzing the various types and specific causes of mortality in pediatric oncology patients with different diagnoses offers valuable insights into the challenges faced in this setting. The study’s retrospective nature, limited representation of a single medical center, small sample sizes, and missing data pose limitations.
