IntroductionThe SARS-CoV-2 virus is acknowledged to be the causative agent for the acute respiratory infectious disease which has been named as coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by The World Health Organization Since 2019 (1, 2). In the three years to 24 June 2023, over 640 million clinically diagnosed infections have been reported on a global scale with 6.6 million coronavirus deaths, according to World Health Organization survey (3).
