1 INTRODUCTION Maintenance of pulp vitality in restorative procedures has become increasingly feasible due to emerging advanced treatments (Nakashima & Akamine, 2005; Qureshi et al., 2014; Sharaan et al., 2021). Direct pulp capping is a vital pulp therapy for a pin-point dental pulp exposure when there is no inflammation (Hanna et al., 2020; Kim et al., 2021; Pathak, 2017; Qureshi et al., 2014).
