An explosion in Khuzdar, targeting the vehicle of the Counter-Terrorism Department’s (CTD) station house officer (SHO), resulted in the SHO’s tragic martyrdom, BOL News reported. The incident occurred on Ibrahim Road in Khuzdar, where the vehicle of SHO CTD Khuzdar, Muhammad Murad, was subjected to the attack. Police stated that an explosive device had been planted in the official’s vehicle.

Following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the initiative to transform Lahore into a dust-free city has been officially launched. Mechanical washing and sweeping operations have commenced during the night shift as part of a phased plan to eliminate dust from 79 roads in Lahore. Motorway authorities have closed the Peshawar to Rashakai section of the motorway for all traffic due to reduced visibility caused by fog. The decision aims to prevent accidents, and authorities advise against unnecessary travel during fog hours. Fog lights should be used while traveling, and the motorway will reopen after the fog subsides. In contrast, the Swat Expressway is open for all traffic from Colonel Sher Khan to Ismaila, with reduced fog intensity reported in that area.
