4. DiscussionDiabetes and hypertension are two significant non-communicable diseases often inadequately managed in Asia. Therefore, holistic and innovative methods that can enhance their detection, prevention, and control are essential. India dubbed the ‘Diabetes Capital of the World’, is home to 17% of the world’s diabetic population. The country currently hosts nearly 80 million people with diabetes, a number expected to rise to 135 million by 2045 [17].
