    One person died during a garage fire in Eastwick early Thursday morning. Philadelphia police and firefighters responded to calls about a garage fire near 77th Street and Este Avenue around 1:20 a.m., where they found the fire emanating from the end unit of several detached garages. After crews contained the blaze, first responders found a body burnt “beyond recognition” near the garage door, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters. Police are working to identify the victim.
