(WJAR) — The mother of a 24-year-old from East Providence, who was shot and killed in a murder-suicide, sat down with NBC 10 Reporter Molly Levine one year after the tragedy. Loren Marino, 24, was shot nine times in her Haverhill, Massachusetts, apartment by a man she was seeing. Authorities determined Austin Amaral, 24, of North Providence, then turned the gun on himself. "I had no control over my body when I got the call," explained the victim's mother, Christine Marino.
