But for the record, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension was a sequel to her unruly conduct on the floor of the Senate. Again, and so far, the president of the senate, Godswill Akpabio did not sexually harass Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

Protest is all the rage in Nigeria today. Democracy allows for peaceful protest, but it is well-nigh impossible for overzealous state agents and sundry nefarious elements not to conjure up violence to complicate matters. For example, insecurity is one of the perennial threats that diminish all efforts at restoring public confidence in governance.
