EnglishEmotional intelligence and the self-concept are linked with every aspect related with self-development. This study aims to give answer to the following question: In which way does the emotional intelligence, self-concept, and the gender of the students is related to the academic performance? Method: 101 students from a Secondary Vocational Training were chosen by an incidental non-probabilistic sampling. The range of age was 18 to 35 years old, wherein 67 were men and 34 women.
