VIOLENCT crimes in South Africa are robbing precious communities of their peace and safety, leaving a trail of devastation. The Dobsonville community in Soweto is mourning the death of Dr Michael Isabelle after he was brutally shot at his practice on Monday afternoon, 24 February. He suffered blows to his head, chest and stomach. The neighbourhood stands united in sorrow and has described him as the pillar and heartbeat of the community.
