Although the biggest news was Shedeur Sanders' sliding to the fifth round, Texas' Quinn Ewers also remained on the board late on Saturday. It took until the seventh round, but he was finally picked by the Miami Dolphins with the No. 231 overall pick.

The Cleveland Browns drafted not one but two quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft. In the third round, the Browns selected Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, and in the fifth, they ended Shedeur Sanders' slide and took him in the fifth round. The two rookie quarterbacks will join a quarterback room that includes an injured Deshaun Watson, Joe Flacco, and Kenny Pickett.

The long wait for Shedeur Sanders is finally over. Despite entering the 2025 NFL Draft expecting to be taken in the first round, Sanders wasn't selected until the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns. It was an eventful few days for Sanders. He threw a big draft party on Thursday evening and ended the night without being picked. On Friday, he was even pranked by a caller posing as Saints GM Mickey Loomis. As one can imagine, Sanders celebrated pretty hard after finally getting drafted.
