Henry Ford College’s student-run restaurant reopened Feb. 5 with a few changes. The restaurant has been running for about 15 years. Chef Joseph Cosenza has been working and teaching at Fifty-One O One since fall 2012. “We’ve got some pretty amazing food. We get to work with some of the best ingredients that we can find,” said Cosenza. Chef Joseph Cosenza has a history of working with big chefs and restaurants in Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Italy, and France.

Campus this fall has been very quiet. With in-person classes reduced to approximately 25 percent of all classes, and all student gathering areas removed, it's not a surprise how eerie the campus feels. The Student and Culinary Arts Center, once a festive gathering and refuel site, has been cleared out and emptied- all except for the Fifty-One O One student-run restaurant which has kept its lights on since July.

She began her singing career after graduating from Oakland University. But it wasn’t until 1991 when she tried out for the Red Wings spot that made her famous. Her love for the game and her passion for singing landed her the spot and she’s loved all 25 years of it and hopes to continue.
