    Na Píobairí Uilleann presents Notes & Narratives – a series of monthly performance-based lectures on traditional music, song and dance by some of Ireland’s finest traditional artists. Notes & Narratives will take place at Na Píobairí Uilleann, 15 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1, starting at 8:30pm on Thursday 20th February 2025. Admission is €10 (unwaged / student / retired €5). For those unable to attend in person, it will also be live streamed for free through our channel NPU-TV.

This month's speaker will be uilleann piper and lecturer Mark Redmond. Mark will be presenting on Uilleann Piping in County Wexford. The presentation will look at the history of uilleann piping in County Wexford from the eighteenth century to recent times.

    Come along to Cruit Éireann|Harp Ireland’s gathering of harp makers on Sunday 17th November 11am-4pm in the Vernon Studio, Royal Irish Academy of Music. Take the opportunity to meet some of our most renowned Irish harp makers, each of them living and making harps here in Ireland. You will have a chance to learn from expert master craftsmen about the traditions and techniques that go into building our national instrument.
