    NHS hospital visitors can enter a unique sound installation that gives an insight into life behind hospital doors. Addenbrooke's Treatment Centre in Cambridge has put on 100 Voices - an audio experience containing the voices of 100 people from 12 hospitals. The project showcases an "authentic snapshot of people", organisers said. It has been backed by Cambridge University Hospitals' arts team and Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust.

    An exhibition showcasing contributions of people from the African-Caribbean community is set to open early next year. Becoming Us: African Caribbean will open in February at St Albans Museum and Gallery in Hertfordshire. It will host an array of artefacts, oral history and memories gathered by residents in the city. Organiser Andrene McDonald said she was delighted to help make sure the community was "celebrated".

    A teenager has been jailed for a minimum of 19 years for murdering a man who was walking home from a shop. Derrick Kinyua, 19, was chased by two youths and fatally stabbed in the neck and chest in Luton on the evening of 14 April. The 17-year-old defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was given a life sentence at Luton Crown Court. Bedfordshire Police said they wanted to speak to another suspect in the case, but believed he had fled the country.

    Cambridge United fans have described the sacking of head coach Mark Bonner as "very sad". Supporters said Bonner's departure was not a complete surprise after the team's recent performances and Tuesday night's defeat to Lincoln City. One, Michael Barnes, said: "It's very sad. Mark's done a fantastic job for the club."Bonner became head coach in March 2020 and led the team to promotion to League One the following year.     A new private sixth form centre is due to move into a former Barclays Bank branch that has Grade II listed status. Buckinghamshire Council approved plans for the Westminster House building in Gerrards Cross, on the corner of Packhorse Road and South Park. The bank closed in March 2021 and the building will now be home to Thorpe House School pupils next year. The building dates back to the early 20th Century and has most recently been used as office space.
