What When the team behind Dishoom opens a new restaurant, expectations are naturally high – and with The Permit Room, those expectations are met and exceeded. Bang in the heart of Oxford, this latest venture is a riot of bold flavours, nostalgic design, and unpretentious charm. Inspired by the mid-century Indian bars where locals gathered for food, drink, and a touch of mischief, it’s a place where warmth radiates from both the kitchen and the staff.
