Baseball & girls lacrosse fans, I have a favor to ask. Due to a technical issue, if you voted for either Baseball or Girls Lacrosse Player of the Week before 11:45 p..m. Monday, please vote again. Polls malfunctioned. New polls are working fine. Apologies for inconvenience.

Huge Somers Lions Joe Wynne meet called off w/several events left. Seemed crazy for a thunder clap followed by sun. But after required 30 minutes of no athletics, thunder , then lightning & rain. So not crazy. Before this, Frank Becerra got lots of pics. See lohud tonight

Frank Becerra and I will be at Somers today to cover things. 61 schools. 2,500 athletes. Quite the meet. Check lohud tonight for photos and story.

Congratulations to Maxwell Silva Steeves for his school record throw of 102’7” in the javelin! What a great start to our two day meet at the Somers Lions Club Invitational. https://t.co/D8m8db92wm
