If you’ve never visited the conveyor belt sushi restaurant, Kura Sushi, now is the time. With over 70 restaurants, in 20 states (and the District of Columbia), this is a fun, interactive, dining experience where guests can enjoy over 100 different dishes. Sushi and small plates move around the restaurant on a conveyor belt, for guests to take. Dishes like ramen and dumplings can be ordered via an electronic menu and delivered directly to guests via a separate, second conveyor belt.

Now imagine, taking the best of both of these brands and combining them into one concept. You don’t have to dream too hard, because GoTo Foods has already done the unthinkable and will soon be debuting Cinnabon Swirl.

My family’s love of The Melting Pot began when my children were in elementary school. I remember choosing to celebrate a birthday at the restaurant, knowing the kids would enjoy dipping bite-size pieces of food into cheese and chocolate fondues. After that first dinner, The Melting Pot became their restaurant of choice for many of their birthday celebrations. The Melting Pot opened its first restaurant in 1975 and now has over 85 locations in 31 states and one restaurant in Canada.
