AbstractQuantum computers have a potential for solving quantum chemistry problems with higher accuracy than classical computers. Quantum computing quantum Monte Carlo (QC-QMC) is a QMC with a trial state prepared in quantum circuit, which is employed to obtain the ground state with higher accuracy than QMC alone. We propose an algorithm combining QC-QMC with a hybrid tensor network to extend the applicability of QC-QMC beyond a single quantum device size.

1. Transgression from LiteratureIn 1957, the Japanese publishing house Chuō kōronsha published an edited volume entitled Literary Film Theory [Bungakuteki eigaron] (Noma et al. 1957). This modest 200-page booklet contained six essays from Japanese writers who played a central role in advancing “postwar literature” from an avant-garde perspective, namely, Noma Hiroshi, Sasaki Kiichi, Shiina Rinzō, Abe Kobō, Hanada Kiyoteru, and Haniya Yutaka.

Abstract The two-time measurement scheme is well studied in the context of quantum fluctuation theorem. However, it becomes infeasible when the random variable determined by a single measurement trajectory is associated with the von Neumann entropy of the quantum states. We employ the one-time measurement scheme to derive a Jarzynski-like equality of nonequilibrium information production by proposing an information production distribution based on the quantum cross-entropy.

Japanese manga has become a globe-spanning culture. Young people all over the world not only know Naruto and One Piece – popular in Japan when I was a student – but also Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, and Jujutsu Kaisen. But what kind of culture is manga? The use of drawing to tell a story is not limited to Japan: the Western world has Christian and Renaissance paintings, and the Islamic world likewise has a rich painting culture.
