A fire apparently started at around 1:00 AM on 21 May 2025 at the JPFL Films’ plant at Mundhegaon in Nashik district, Maharashtra. What the press has desribed as a massive fire is still raging a day and a half later. Unlike the fire that occurred on 1 January 2023 when three persons were reported to have died, thus far as per the report by NDTV three employees are injured in the past two days.

Chenga Reddy of Citrus Packaging Solutions recently visited the Spande factory in Shanghai to familiarize himself with Spande’s flexo technology, and there he signed for a press that will be delivered to the company’s plant in the last quarter of 2025. The press that he has purchased will be on display and demonstrated live at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona in September – followed by shipment to India and installation at Citrus in Hyderabad.
