Clinically validated battery of touch screen tasks effectively identified epilepsy patients with impaired memory and executive functions. Patients with memory and executive function deficits showed significantly decreased electroencephalography (EEG) theta power in the anterior prefrontal cortex. Theta power from all four frontal pole EEG electrodes correlated with the behavioral measures of memory and executive functions.
