EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Two Montwood High School cheerleaders, Tiffany Gavaldon and Kira Jensen, are challenging stereotypes by writing and self-publishing a children's book titled "Not Just a Bow." The book follows the life of a 10-year-old cheerleader named Chloe, who is involved in various activities beyond cheerleading. "It's about 30 pages," said Gavaldon, a junior at Montwood.

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — 19 rooms, 14-foot ceilings, eight fireplaces, and the possibility for some spooky spirits to still be lingering in the hallways. The Magoffin home was built in El Paso in 1873 but it wasn't until 1971 when it was declared a historic site. KFOX14/CBS4's Nasya Mancini went on a tour to see how history is still breathing life into the home, even after the residents have departed. It provides healthcare services at no charge to people without access to basic healthcare. I've seen how El Paso has the physician shortage, it's underserved. I think it's really impactful for someone to come to their hometown and help 2-3 parents, it really does make a difference,” said Elizabeth Penner, a 2nd Year Medical Student.
