The UK’s minister for climate change has been talking to our colleague Fiona Harvey in the hallway. He told her he’d have liked to see more on coal, and also said that new licenses in North Sea are part of the transition away from fossil fuels. Interesting. Next up is Guatemala. The representative is speaking on behalf of the Ailac group of Latin American and Caribbean countries, and says they align themselves with the position of the G77 developing countries and China bloc.
