    BURKBURNETT (KFDX/KJTL) — Friends, family, and veterans gathered today at the Burkburnett cemetery to pay respect to those who lost their lives in battle. During the ceremony, a wreath was placed to honor those who had lost their lives, taps were played, and colors were presented. Guest speaker, Burkburnett Assistant City Manager Dusty Burkybile, took the podium to reflect and share his stories of fighting overseas and losing two men in the line of duty while fighting for our freedom.

And let’s just say when it comes to all things electricity, I now know watt’s up. This duplex is in serious need of more juice. It’s why the guys at Moss Electric and I are upping its amperage from 100 to 200, giving more efficiency and no more tripped breakers. But this work isn’t without its challenges.

    WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a two-vehicle crash over the weekend. William Heyen was pronounced dead at United Regional after being transported from the scene with CPR in process, according to Sergeant Brett Keith with WFPD. On Sunday, April 27, at around 12:23 p.m., Heyen was traveling eastbound on Southwest Parkway when an SUV pulled out from Lake Park Drive in front of his motorcycle, Keith said. Heyen struck the SUV’s driver’s side.
