Southampton have confirmed ex-Roma boss Ivan Juric as their new manager to replace Russell Martin. The 49-year-old has agreed to an 18-month deal, which includes a break clause at the end of the season. But he may not be able to take charge of his first Saints match on Sunday despite his appointment. The south coast side face Fulham at Craven Cottage at 2pm, and it remains to be seen whether he will be in the dugout for the match. Juric is yet to have his Visa permitted to allow him to work.

Ex-Roma boss Ivan Juric is expected to become Southampton's new manager, talkSPORT understands. Free agent Juric was on the Saints' list to replace Ralph Hasenhuttl two years ago. He was second choice to eventual successor Nathan Jones. Southampton have also sounded out West Brom boss Carlos Corberan and former Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand about succeeding the axed Russell Martin.
