Cheltenham Festival punters have delivered a mixed verdict on the prices of food and drinks at the first major British race meet of the year - amid claims the event was failing to sell out. Social media was enraged this week as it emerged a pint of Guinness cost £7.80 at the festival - up 40p from 2024 - while a pint of its alcohol-free cousin was £7.40, the same price as a can of 'premium lager' and 10p more than a single whisky.
