Photo by Luke Lu/Diamond Images via Getty Images Given what we’ve seen from Round 2 draft pick Kingsley Suamataia and Round 3 selection Wanya Morris, Kansas City Chiefs’ fans might not be interested in taking a tackle after the NFL Draft’s first round. While picks after the first round are likelier to be dart throws, both Suamataia and Morris were physically talented tackles with traits worth developing.

Whether at defensive end or defensive tackle, the Chiefs need more bodies, particularly guys with pass rush juice. Throughout last season, it was a struggle for any non-Chris Jones player to generate quick pressures. It’s not a strength of any of the defensive ends, nor any of the defensive tackles after Tershawn Wharton’s departure.

Watch the backside safety on these plays and where his body is turned. When the Eagles were in their Cover 4/QQH stuff, that backside safety was "poaching", where he helps on the strongside of the concept. Leaves a one-on-one backside. KC could never throw that pass https://t.co/Aa2LesJICi
