Have you ever played a game that spoke to you so much that you were sure you had lived it yourself? Well, as a Queer woman, that’s how Lost Records: Bloom & Rage made me feel. A title that pridefully waves its identity at every turn, Bloom & Rage is the exact title that I needed as a young Queer teen. It’s messy, Sapphic, angsty, and beautiful, everything that comes with the self-discovery of being a young Femme. Though there’s a lot more witchcraft in the game than I remember dealing with as a kid.

Active players and newbies alike of Insurgency: Sandstorm are in for a treat as the game has recently released its “Operation: Overrun” update! This new update brings a host of neat new additions to the game, with the biggest being a new map for players to explore. The brand-new map “Forest” drops players into the heart of a dense, lush green map with near-endless hidden spots for players to camp their way to victory.

One thing that I’ve always been a fan of is RGB. It made its big debut in just about every aspect of gaming life back when I was in my later years of high school. I would even go as far as to call myself an “RGB Girlie”, as I quickly adopted RGB-laden gaming peripherals and decor for my ever-changing gaming setup. However, as the years went on, I found myself opting for less overzealous uses of the gimmick.

Continuing to be one of my favorite developers out there, Aspyr has released another two remasters of some classic video game titles of my childhood. Though there are technically four remastered games in total, the release of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Star Wars: Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles allows players to step back in time and re-experience just a few of some fondly remembered titles, but with some new flair. So, let’s talk about what players can expect from these wonderful titles.

It’s no secret that Call of Duty: MW3 was a huge joke that none of us laughed at. Luckily, Black Ops 6 is a return to form for this beloved franchise. This iteration in the Black Ops series is a welcomed one. Taking place in slightly more recent times, this game borrows action moments and just moment-to-moment combat scenes reminiscent of some of the best action films of the 90s. There’s a lot of care and attention put into gameplay this time around.

The Envision Pro is a very sturdy controller, that’s sure to stand up to drops and dings as you set it down. But its toughness isn’t the only thing going for it with its sturdy build. The Envision Pro has some great, quality parts within it that make up its build—more specifically its buttons. I think the way that buttons feel and their responsiveness are the most important things I look for in a controller. If it feels wrong, I just can’t use it.
