First, improve enough from 2024 to win enough games to be in consideration for the playoff. Second, get your athletic director on the college football playoff committee. Well now we know for sure that Nebraska has accomplished the second of the two as it was announced today that Troy Dannen has been appointed to the CFP Selection Committee.

While they went through a thorough search process it looks like they hired within. Luca Virgilio, who was previously the Director of Basketball Strategies and Business Operations, is now Fred Hoiberg’s new general manager.

The most recent example is something he said about the players who will/could be drafted this weekend. He gave credit to Scott Frost and his staff including the strength and conditioning coaches under Frost for bringing them in and developing them.
