Metroid Prime fans have certainly had the opportunity to practice their patience. Announced shortly after the launch of the Switch, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond won’t ultimately arrive until after the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, a wait of over eight years. That said, the game does exist, it is coming this year, and, in fact, I recently got to play it at a Nintendo Switch 2 preview event (you can check out my general impressions of the hardware here).

Time for my annual reminder that my kid looks, sounds, moves, acts, and may, in fact, *be* Home-Alone-age Macaulay Culkin via some time-travel chicanery.

As someone beyond burnt out on Star Wars, #StarWarsOutlaws looks pretty cool. Totally ignoring the license, if they can successfully combine open-world with Uncharted-style missions, they'll have something pretty unique on their hands.

There are very few games anymore where I just let the mechanics take me. Where I'm, like, "Yeah, this is manipulating my brain, but I like it." Diablo and Diablo-likes are on the short list of games that still do that. So, yeah, I keep kinda giving Diablo IV that side glance.
