Auburn is not expected to have a deep group of selections as NFL Draft week arrives. Running back Jarquez Hunter is the leader of the pack, as the Tigers are expected to have at least two players selected, maybe three, and Hunter is probably the only one capable of being take before the late rounds Sunday.

Another depth piece is gone from Auburn's cornerback roomAuburn's cornerback depth has taken another hit, as redshirt freshman Tyler Scott will enter the transfer portal, Auburn Undercover was informed Saturday. A former 4-star recruit from Mableton, Georgia, Scott entered the transfer portal last April but withdrew just a week later. He missed the 2024 season after suffering a knee injury in summer workouts. Auburn's cornerback room gets a bit thinner, after reserve JC Hart entered the portal.

Auburn has landed an intriguing replacement for Chad Baker-Mazara. Elyjah Freeman, one of the top players on the Division-II level this past season, committed to Auburn on Saturday. Freeman had also visited Tennessee. An unrated recruit from Wellington, Florida, in last year's class, the 6-foot-8 Freeman exploded in his freshman season at LMU, being named the South Atlantic Freshman Player of the Year, with 18.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
