CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Miss. (WLBT) - On Saturday, the MB Foundation held a special community event in honor of Martavious Brown, an 18-year-old who was killed in 2021 by gun violence in Jackson. Family, friends, and members of the Crystal Springs community came together at Chautauqua Park for a day of fun to remember Brown, but it was bittersweet for the family not having him there to experience the support. ”It warmed my heart, but it also saddened me at the same time.
