1 INTRODUCTION In this study, polyamide (PA), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and oil molecules were chemically bonded to prepare a solid lubricant. A dry/solid lubrication system is proposed here, which includes three components: a steel disc, a bronze disc, and a solid lubricant that consists of PTFE, oil, and chrome compounds. As a result of friction, a small amount of the compound is transferred onto the steel disc while pressed against it.
