Neil Atkinson’s post-match review for The Anfield Wrap after Leicester City 0 Liverpool 1 in the 2024-2025 Premier League season…BY the end, I never wanted to leave. Wanted it again and again. Would give everything to go back to half past four and start again from scratch. The end wasn’t the final whistle. It was 10 minutes after, 15 minutes after. Neil Atkinson’s post-match review for The Anfield Wrap after Liverpool 2 West Ham United 1 in the 2024-2025 Premier League season…ALL season, the line has been they have got what they deserve. It was a battle, a scrap and it was dreadfully officiated. Christ, that was stressful. Christ, that was good. Good god, did we need that. As You’ll Never Walk Alone belted out at Anfield, we needed to win this game against Everton. Curtis Jones is beaming like a Cheshire cat at the end.

Thinktank the National Centre for Energy Analytics recently analysed how and why the IEA is heading in the wrong direction with regard to energy scenarios. The paper, titled Energy Delusions: Peak Oil Forecasts: A Critique of Oil “Scenarios” in the IEA World Energy Outlook 2024, explained how wishful thinking had become the organisation’s primary directive. For decades, the IEA was the world’s gold standard for both energy information and credible analysis.
