    Saskatoon Police responded to three separate imitation weapon incidents over the weekend. During the noon hour on Saturday, there was a report of a man with a firearm in the area of Central Avenue and 115th Street. Upon arrival, officers located two suspects that matched eyewitness descriptions. One attempted to hide an imitation firearm in a bush. A 17-year-old faces weapons charges and failing to comply with a court order.

    Warman RCMP have laid charges against a 17-year-old charged in connection with an assault with a weapon at a business in Martensville on Friday night. The boy is charged with several counts under the Youth Criminal Justice Act including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose. An adult is also being charged, but RCMP are unable to provide further details currently.

    Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has taken over the investigation of a missing 40-year-old woman from the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, about 70 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert. Michelle Ahenakew was reported missing on Thursday, June 12-but she had been last seen on June 5th on the Big River First Nation. Residents of the Big River First Nation may notice an increased police presence during the investigation.
