Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke required oxygen and a neck brace after a horror clash of heads in the match against Brentford. The Dutch star was involved in a sickening collision with Brentford midfielder Yunus Konak late in the Premier League match at the Gtech Stadium. The 24-year-old initially sat up but medical staff lay him down on the turf as lengthy treatment was provided on the pitch and the game was halted for around nine minutes.
